Carolina‑Type Dog Mix Looking for a Forever Home

This sweet boy wandered up to the doorstep of a couple who just moved into their new home. They adore him but aren’t in a position to take on another dog, so they’re hoping to help him find a loving family of his own.

He’s about 1 year old, weighs 53 pounds, and is house‑broken and kennel‑trained. He sleeps quietly in their room at night, doesn’t chew things as long as he has toys, and loves to play. He knows basic commands and walks fairly well on a leash—still learning, but eager and smart. He’s goofy, affectionate, eager to please and full of puppy energy.

He has a rabies vaccine but no other records yet. He is not neutered, but the couple is willing to cover the cost of neutering and microchipping for his new family. He hasn’t damaged anything in their home and isn’t a barker.
