Sourdough 101 Class April 25th-Evergreen

Ever wanted to bake a really good sourdough loaf that actually works up here in the mountains?

I’ve spent years figuring out the tweaks needed for high elevation, and I’d love to share what I’ve learned with you.

Join me for a hands-on Sourdough 101 class where we’ll cover the basics and go beyond—science, technique, and all the little adjustments that make a big difference at altitude.

Details:

• Date: Saturday, April 25th, 2026

• Time: 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm

• Location: Chillax Om, 4600 Plettner Ln, 1C, Evergreen CO 80439

What we’ll do:

• Talk through the how and why of sourdough, especially what changes when you’re baking above 7,000 feet (or wherever your kitchen sits). I’ll share my go-to methods that have worked for me.
• Get hands-on: mix, stretch, fold, shape, and bake your own loaves. We’ll practice handling dough in our thinner air so you can get that good rise and crust.
• Small group, so you’ll get real one-on-one help no matter if you’re just starting or already baking regularly.
• Take home: your own starter, a finished baked loaf, and three doughs at different stages to finish and bake yourself.
