Update On the Upcoming CR 43 Culvert Replacement Project

Update from Public Works on CR 43 in Bailey:

The culvert replacement project is set to begin on 9/28/26 on CR 43 at CR 1034. About 300' of roadway will be down to one lane for the duration of the project, which could take 10-14 days or longer. There will be automated traffic signals in place that will be functioning 24/7. 

Expect delays, slow down in work zones, and please respect our workers. 

Reminder - there is a community meeting scheduled for this Friday, 9/25 at 6pm at the Platte Canyon Fire station meeting room where elected officials, the Director of Public Works, and the contractor will be in attendance to answer questions and address concerns.
