Introducing Stride Street Medicine in the Platte Canyon Community
We are pleased to introduce a new collaborative effort to expand access to healthcare services within the Platte Canyon community through a partnership between Stride Community Health Center, Platte Canyon Fire Protection District, and the Platte Canyon Foundation.
Stride's Street Medicine Program is designed to bring healthcare directly to individuals who may face barriers to accessing traditional medical services. Through this innovative approach, healthcare providers meet people where they are, offering compassionate, patient-centered care to underserved and vulnerable populations. This collaboration seeks to improve health outcomes, reduce barriers to care, and strengthen the overall well-being of our community.
As part of this initiative, Platte Canyon Fire Protection District personnel will distribute informational flyers during appropriate emergency medical responses and community interactions, helping connect residents with healthcare services and support resources that may otherwise be difficult to access. By providing information at the point of contact, we hope to increase awareness of available services and make it easier for individuals to receive the care they need.

We encourage you to share these materials with individuals that may benefit from the services offered through the program, helping us expand awareness and reach those most in need of support.
