COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT for Seniors - and More

Senior Alliance of Platte Canyon - SAPCJune 8, 2026

COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT

SAPC is meeting with our U.S. Representative Brittany Pettersen in the next few weeks. Rep Pettersen wishes to discuss senior needs in our rural area. We believe it would be very helpful to have current data going into the meeting that we could leave with her and her team. We have posted a brief survey, which will take less than two minutes to complete, on our website. The link to the survey is https://seniorsalliance.org/sapc-survey/. Please help us accurately represent the issues that are important to you by completing the survey. If you prefer phone conversation, the survey is attached and you can call our office at 720.385.8300 and leave your responses with an office volunteer or in a voice message. We truly appreciate your valuable feedback. See attached survey

STAUNTON STATE PARK DAVIS PONDS HIKE AND PICNIC JUNE 18th

Join SAPC at Staunton State Park for a 2.5 mile round trip adventure walk to Davis Ponds, where we will enjoy our picnic lunches before returning to the Park Ranger Station. The walk will be led by long time Park volunteer Gary Finley. Getting out in nature is an evidence-based way to reduce stress and improve mental health. Join us as we soak in fresh air and the beauty of a local gem.  See attached flyer for all the details

ICE CREAM SOCIAL

SAPC is hosting our annual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, June 20th, between 1 and 3pm at McGraw Park. The Historical Society is hosting an open house on this day and the buildings will be open and docents will be available to answer your questions. Join us for this free educational community event. See attached flyer for all the details
