Platte Canyon Health District news and updates

For years, the Platte Canyon Health District committee has been working tirelessly to bring accessible healthcare to our community. We believe strongly that local healthcare access is essential for the future of Platte Canyon.
UPDATE:
There will be another BOCC meeting on Tuesday, April 21 regarding the Platte Canyon Health Service District.

We wanted to share an update regarding the Platte Canyon Health Service District process. As you are probably aware, a citizens committee has requested that the BOCC allow a ballot measure so citizens can vote for creation of a medical clinic in Bailey to serve the residents of the Platte Canyon area of Park Co.
Following the March 16 hearing, it was determined that not all submitted letters and emails had been provided in advance to the committee for rebuttal. As a result, an additional session had to be scheduled to allow for the rebuttal, as required by law.
Next BOCC Meeting:Tuesday, April 21
Time: 1:00 PM
Location: Park County Board of County Commissioners Hearing Room, 856 Costello Ave, Fairplay
Community members are encouraged and welcome to attend in person and stay informed on the process.
